Welcome to
St. Pius X Catholic Church
The first Mass in Sycamore was celebrated by Father Maurice Herman in 1951 in an empty furniture store. As the Catholic community grew, a new church was built and dedicated in 1954, receiving the name St. Pius X in honor of Pope St. Pius X.
Throughout its history, St. Pius X has been served as a mission parish by several neighboring communities. It became a mission of St. Peter Parish in Upper Sandusky in 1955, was briefly assigned to St. Mary Parish in Kirby in 1967, then became a mission of St. Joseph Parish in Tiffin later that same year. In 2000, pastoral care was transferred to St. Mary Parish in Tiffin. On July 1, 2026, pastoral care of St. Pius X once again returned to St. Joseph Parish in Tiffin.
Whether you are looking for a church to call your own or visiting from out of town, we welcome you to be a part of our community this weekend. Check out our Mass, Confession, and Adoration times and register as a parishioner if you will be joining us regularly.
